European Remanufacturing Forum
APRA ( Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association) , University Bayreuth and Fraunhofer Institute are joining forces in organising a Remanufacturing Forum on June 18, 2007 during the ReMaTec Exhibition in Amsterdam. The main focus of the technical presentations will be on Remanufacturing Mechatronics and Electronics. The trend, to go electrical/electronically controlled, for major car components such as power steering, engine management, transmissions, brakes, shock absorbers, gear boxes, hybrid engines etc will dramatically change the remanufacturing business in the near future. The APRA Electronics & Mechatronics Division has already embraced these new technologies (several Forums were held in the USA) and has decided to start the same activities in Europe. Bayreuth University together with Fraunhofer Institute have for many years both been very involved in Remanufacturing and are pleased to support this new APRA activity. Both Institutes have already realised a number of projects in the area of Remanufacturing Automotive Mechatronics and Electronics and have decided to further progress these activities. In Amsterdam a number of technical presentations will be offered so that Remanufacturers will get a good impression of where Remanufacturing is moving in terms of new products.

Choice Tech 2007: an unique Technical Seminar
What happens when Automatic Choice, ReMaTec, Sonnax and Alto join forces?
You can experience the special result on Saturday 16 June 2007, when the 6th Choice Tech Seminar takes place in the RAI.
Delegates from former seminars, organised by Automatic Choice, know that Choice Tech always brings practical information on automatic transmissions.
For this day prior to ReMaTec 2007, Automatic Choice invited Alto and Sonnax to enlighten you with technical problems; developments and, most importantly, solutions.
Bob Warnke from Sonnax is a well known and experienced speaker, who will easily guide you through oil flow and valve body modifications for example.
Representing Alto, Roy Baker, will be your professional helping hand in the world of frictions and steels.
In other words: a visit to ReMaTec 2007 is not complete without a visit to Choice Tech 2007!
